Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does TrueCall upload my contact list to an external server?
No. TrueCall respects your privacy. Your address book stays completely on your device. Contact access is only used to format caller names locally.
Why does incoming caller identification require iOS 15.0 or later?
TrueCall leverages Apple's native Call Directory and CallKit APIs, which require modern iOS capabilities for smooth, background spam lookup without consuming battery.
How do I request removal of a phone number from the directory?
Send an email to our support email with the phone number and proof of ownership. We review and process directory de-listing requests within 48 business hours.
How do I report a new spam or fraudulent caller?
Inside TrueCall, navigate to Call History or Search, tap on the number, and select "Report as Spam". Our systems analyze report clusters to protect other users.
